Lute FP A quick diversion to a time when pop, rock, and alternative were still unraveling into their individual components. Blondie-ish.

Ben Harris Stellar four-track demo from this New Zealand dark punk group who (if there's any justice in the world) will eventually get their big break. Possessing glassy guitarwork and wonderfully weary tone, these small but emotionally charged pieces have all the energy and brevity of traditional punk, with all the condensed thunderbrowed moodiness of the best batcave dwelling darkwave. Favorite track: One Last Goodbye.

Chip Tennille Fantastic EP here, really glad I stumbled upon this. Perhaps imagine Siouxsie fronting Mission of Burma, hits all my '80 college radio sweet spots. Very much hope to hear more from these guys, highly recommended! Favorite track: One Last Goodbye.
